Position Summary

Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a self-driven and well-organized President of BNI Singapore. The successful candidate will have proven experience developing and executing nationwide business growth strategies and a commitment to providing leadership and support to BNI Members, franchisees, and employees in BNI Singapore.  This is an exceptional opportunity for the right leader.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, outstanding communication, and excellent team-building skills. This individual will lead overall regional expansion and Membership growth in BNI Singapore, streamline national operations, effectively and efficiently direct an operational budget at the national level, follow and refine our business strategy for BNI Singapore, and enhance relationships with all stakeholders.  They will also focus on Member success and be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

This Role Entails the Following:

• Identify Membership growth opportunities across Singapore, contributing to the overall global expansion strategy
• Drive market penetration by overseeing national expansion and brand positioning in the Singapore market, working in close collaboration with the Operations team for Singapore
• Work closely with global functional leaders to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration
• Collaborate with franchisees and their field leaders to provide a consistent brand experience and deliver on BNI’s brand promise
• Prepare accurate and timely information and analyses communicating business results, variances, and trends
• Cultivate and maintain key relationships and partnerships with vendors and other external partners
• Foster a culture of excellence, learning, and leadership development within the operations in Singapore
• Ensure timely and transparent communications with all stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of proven experience in a presidential role or similar position
• 10+ years of financial management experience
• 5-7 years of experience working within a multinational organization
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and Malay (written and verbal)
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and Outlook, in particular), WeChat, and other applicable systems

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Passionate about helping BNI Members grow their business and generate a high return on their Membership
• Ability to gather and disseminate information quickly and in a precise manner
• History of strong project management skills and experience
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of global business dynamics, with a track record of successfully navigating international markets
