Position Summary 

Who We’re Looking For:  

We are seeking a self-driven and well-organized President of BNI New Zealand who has a deep understanding of prospecting while building positive relationships, a proven experience developing and executing key growth strategies, and a commitment to provide leadership and support to our EDs (Franchisees) and RDs (Company Owned Regions) Coordinators in BNI New Zealand.  

The ideal candidate (reporting to the President of APAC and our CRC’s) will possess a strong entrepreneurial drive, outstanding communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and good planning and organizational skills. This individual would lead overall membership growth in BNI New Zealand, streamline national operations, effectively and efficiently direct operational budget at the national level, drive revenue-producing results, direct our business strategy for BNI New Zealand, and enhance relations with internal stakeholders, staff, and surrounding communities. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

This Role Entails the Following: 

  • Own and execute on the growth goals for BNI New Zealand on a membership and budget level 
  • Work in collaboration with Director of Operations for New Zealand 
  • Provide leadership to regional directors through management and implementation of membership and profitability goals
  • Oversee national development and expansion
  • Collaborate with ED’s and RD’s to develop program ensuring we provide a consistent brand experience and deliver on our brand promise
  • Prepare accurate and timely analyses capturing and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends
  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships and partnerships with stakeholders and external partners  

Qualifications 

Minimum Experience & Education: 

  • A master’s degree is preferred for this role 
  • 10+ years of proven experience in this or similar position  
  • 10+ years of financial management experience 
  • Post-secondary education, or a combination of education and work experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational & time management skills with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Passionate about helping others to grow their business and generate a return on their investment
  • Ability to gather and disseminate information quickly in a precise manner
  • History of project management
