Overview
Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Global Financial Strategy, the Manager, Strategic Finance plays a pivotal role within the BNI Strategic Finance Team and is an integral part of forming and executing on BNI’s strategic plan. The Manager will lead a high-performing team (initially two Analysts), responsible for the company’s financial planning and performance management processes, from forecasting and budgeting to modeling and analysis of new opportunities and threats to the business. The Manager will partner with senior leaders to evaluate, plan, execute, and measure outcomes for strategic initiatives. The Manager will regularly analyze the company’s performance and develop management and board reporting that contains compelling, data-driven insights to inform decision-making, accelerating growth and value creation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
- Performance Analysis: Lead financial performance analysis, tracking metrics, trends, and forecasts to support growth objectives.
- Compelling Storytelling: Curate concise narratives and presentations for various stakeholders that highlight performance trends, opportunities and risks that are actionable for business partners.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with teams like operations, customer success, communications & marketing, and product to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Risk & Forecasting: Identify financial risks, create models to predict performance, and mitigate potential challenges.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor the team of Analysts, developing their skills, demonstrating best-practices, and ensuring strong alignment with organizational objectives. Opportunity to recruit and scale the newly formed team.

Required Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity, Consulting, or Strategic Finance / FP&A.
- Extensive experience conducting quantitative / financial analysis and developing recommendations.
- Deep understanding of key business and financial concepts, with experience building / automating financial models and management reports on financial / operational performance.
- Highly detail-oriented, while remaining conscious of the bigger-picture.
- Problem solving / analytical skills and sound judgment.
- Proactive / resourceful mindset.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with large data sets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., OneStream, Anaplan, etc.).
- Experience with SQL, Python, and / or BI applications (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
