Position Summary

The Director of Marketing & Communications plays a key leadership role in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives to enhance the organization’s brand awareness, reputation, and engagement with key stakeholders. This position oversees all aspects of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, and communications. The Director of Marketing & Communications collaborates closely with key positions within the Marketing Department and the Leadership Team to drive cohesive messaging and alignment with key audiences, including our franchise business owners and their employees, as well as our clients. This role requires a dynamic and strategic leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record in marketing and communications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, retention and support revenue generation in alignment with company strategies.
  • Content Creation: Manage the creation of compelling content for various channels, including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our organizational values and objectives.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns.
  • Website Management: Oversee all aspects of our website, ensuring it reflects our brand voice, is easy to navigate, and drives conversions.
  • Graphic Design: Collaborate with the Creative Design team on graphics and design support to develop visually stunning and emotionally resonant marketing campaigns and materials.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing and communications budgets, allocating resources effectively to achieve strategic objectives and maximize ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing and communication performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel internationally (must have valid passport).



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, media relations, or in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years in Marketing or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute a communications strategy and marketing plan including the conceptualization, development, management, and production of print, digital, email, web, and social (media) marketing content and other materials.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Experience with evaluating and upgrading communications platforms websites and mobile applications to enhance the Member experience.
  • Experience with data analytics, surveys, and market research to identify and address Member needs across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Strong writing and editing ability, with demonstrated experience in writing reports and presentations, editorial, talking points, program-specific copy, story-telling about the organization’s impact, annual report, and more.
  • Self-directed, motivated, confident leader and able to effectively manage multiple projects at once in an energizing, fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-functional collaborator with demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage with a diverse set of internal stakeholders, community leaders, and organizations.


  • Experience leading a geographically diverse team, including international team members.
  • Experience with developing and marketing an Executive-level, luxury brand.
  • Video, online broadcast, and graphic design experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in web design and development.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience within the franchising industry is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
