Overview

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, US Franchises, the Director, Franchise Support is responsible for supporting, coaching, and inspiring Executive Directors across the United States, to drive BNI’s mission, vision, core values and code of ethics in pursuit of BNI’s strategic development plan. This role demonstrates a strong track-record for managing and growing a BNI franchise and excels in Key Success Factors such as: (i) new chapter launch, (ii) net growth in membership for existing chapters, (iii) retaining existing members, (iv) achieving superior levels of member satisfaction (NPS), (v) telling stories that drive action, and (vi) building high-performing teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, coaching, and inspiring Executive Directors to develop their regions and ensure they are compliant with BNI Franchise Agreement, development schedules and other key organizational performance indicators
  • Conducting Franchise Reviews and Development Plans to support and implement accountability in the regions, while reviewing and recognizing progress
  • Helping Executive Directors to develop high-performing management teams via recommendations for roles/responsibilities, compensation and performance incentives
  • Leveraging internal and external benchmarking data to objectively evaluate performance and achieve organizational goals
  • Advocating to BNI GST for the needs of Executive Directors and their teams regarding policies/procedures, training, materials and support infrastructure
  • Conduct new Executive Director onboarding
  • Deploy programs to Executive Directors
  • Any additional duties needed to help demonstrate our core values, drive our vision, and fulfill our mission.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ year experience in BNI at a Director level or higher 
  • Reside in the U.S. with requirement to travel ~ 50% of the time
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Demonstrated ability to champion change, influence & drive results in a franchised organization 
  • Able to understand complex issues & can clearly articulate complex ideas 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues & self-start programs to address 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
