Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team at our worldwide headquarters in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate should have experience as a security analyst and be proficient with Microsoft Office 365. The candidate should be detail-oriented, have excellent analytical skills, and have a strong understanding of IT security principles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor network activity and maintain security logs.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  • Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  • Educate both technical and non-technical stakeholders on security best practices, risks, and mitigation strategies in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide support for compliance audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including a business impact analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
    1. Experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a security analyst
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
    1. Entra (Azure AD), Purview (Compliance), Defender (Security) experience ideal
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices
  • Experience with GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, and other data compliance/privacy regulations is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
