Position Summary
We are looking for a Video Production Specialist who is creative, innovative, and results-oriented. This individual will be responsible for producing high-quality video content to enhance member engagement, promote events, and share impactful stories within our community. You will play an essential role in bringing our brand’s message to life through visually compelling storytelling.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Video Production:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for a variety of purposes, including member events, promotional materials, social media, and internal communications.
- Oversee all aspects of the production process, from pre-production (concepting and scripting) to filming, editing, and post-production.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (marketing, events, membership) to ensure the video content aligns with organizational goals and enhances the member experience.
- Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop video content strategies to support marketing campaigns, member communications, and organizational initiatives.
- Produce both short-form and long-form video content tailored to different platforms (social media, website, email newsletters, etc.).
- Capture and highlight key moments from events, conferences, and other member activities to create engaging and impactful videos.
- Brand Consistency & Quality Control:
- Ensure all video content adheres to the organization’s branding guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual style, tone, and messaging.
- Edit and polish video content to the highest standards, ensuring it meets quality, clarity, and brand guidelines.
- Handle all technical aspects of video production, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
- Collaboration & Feedback:
- Work closely with the marketing and events teams to capture relevant content that will resonate with our high-net-worth members.
- Actively participate in brainstorming and creative sessions to identify new video content ideas.
- Gather feedback from key stakeholders and iterate video content to improve quality and effectiveness.
- Social Media & Digital Platform Optimization:
- Adapt video content for social media platforms and other digital channels, optimizing it for maximum reach and engagement.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in video production and digital marketing to ensure our content is fresh, engaging, and aligns with industry standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed on new video production tools, techniques, and technologies to continuously elevate the quality and impact of our videos.
- Measure the success of video content and implement improvements based on analytics and feedback.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.) and other relevant production tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment (cameras, lighting, sound).
- A portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects, demonstrating creativity, storytelling, and technical skills.
- Excellent understanding of video formats and how to optimize video content for different platforms (social media, websites, email, etc.).
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
