Overview

Reporting to the CEO, and based at BNI’s Global Headquarters in Charlotte, the VP – Communications & Marketing will be responsible for internal and external communications, public relations, marketing, and social media as well as global events.  This individual will drive organizational growth through the strategic use of powerful, global communications. Position Description
  • Learn BNI’s unique history, model, value proposition, culture, and Core Values
  • Build highly productive and long-lasting relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
  • Build and execute strategic comms plan to elevate global awareness of BNI via PR, communications, marketing, and global events teams
  • To maximize impact, identify, align, goal, and drive communications points of contact across BNI’s 76 (and growing) operating countries
  • Align and drive brand consistency online, in traditional media, and the In-Chapter branding of BNI’s 10,800+ Chapters worldwide
  • Drive year-over-year increases in Visitors, Member Growth & Retention, and Chapter Launch worldwide
  • Support the strengthening of alliances worldwide in concert with our existing strategic alliances leader
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • At least ten years of successful communications experience in service brand(s)
  • Familiarity and comfort working within a growing global organization
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree with high grade point average; additional graduate degree preferred
  • Strong references, clean background, customer service orientation
  • Professional demeanor with a sense of humility and sense of humor
  • Excellent oral communication skills with a high level of professional confidence
  • Used to working in a fast-paced, fun, and collegial environment
  • Ability to perform some international travel
