Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented business Software Support Engineer with a focus on system/application supporting/testing and business requirements researching. As a Support Engineer, you need to help partners and users use the system more efficiently/effectively and as required. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through testing. The potential grow into a Business Analyst role exists.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing daily support for the use of business software system, quickly respond and solve user issues, and seek assistance from IT and external suppliers as necessary.
  • Record the tickets/logs for system support and update the system knowledge base as needed.
  • Management of business software systems: configuration, users, permissions…
  • As necessary, create operation manuals, training materials and courseware.
  • Train and mentor business team and end users. Provide training and demonstrations to improve the system usage ability of customers/users if necessary.
  • Provide reasonable system optimization suggestions, assist in researching, collecting, analyzing requirements of the business software system.
  • Work closely with the business team to identify the applicability of functions.
  • Work closely with the 3rd party development team to identify and resolve defects.
  • Document and communicate the test results and findings to IT manager.
  • Assist in the launch, tracking, and control of system functions.
  • Collaborate with teammates and 3rd party team to improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements of the company, including but not limited to company information security, conduct in business, interactive dialogue on competition law, and carry out business activities in a legal and reasonable manner

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, management, language, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in business software system supporting and remote supporting.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Have experience in training business partners and end users.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Business Analytics preferred for future growth in role.
  • Quick thinking, meticulous logic, adept at discovering and solving problems, outgoing personality, strong sense of responsibility, good expression ability, communication ability, and teamwork awareness.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Chinese & English. Fluent in Cantonese is a plus.
  • Priority given to those with basic IT skills (such as operating systems, office software).
