Job Description: Accounts Assistant

Working closely with the International Controller, the Accounts Assistant will handle day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing team and a growing global organization.

This role entails the following:

  • Preparation of timely monthly management accounts for the multinational group companies for consolidation to US HQ including preparation of month end reports, reconciliations, and classifications of accounts.
  • Ensuring comprehensive month end files are prepared to support all balances held at the reporting date including detailed schedules for accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
  • Closing month end ledger.
  • Manage the annual external audit and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of monthly and annual Revenue returns.
  • Overview of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Job Requirements

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or other equivalent with 2+ years of post -qualified experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Foreign Currency experience a distinct advantage.
  • Advanced Excel experience.

Preferred but not required:

  • Accounting Technician qualification or relevant Business Degree/Diploma a distinct advantage.
