International Networking Week
Celebrate with BNI to increase awareness of networking.

International Networking Week™ is a new initiative of BNI International, and is touted by Founder Ivan Misner as the single most important new event for BNI this year. This program will feature a number of different worldwide networking events.

International Networking Week™ will begin on the first Monday of February of each year. In 2007, International Networking Week will be February 5th - 9th. This project has been spearheaded by Geoff Kirkwood of BNI Australia. BNI National Directors from all over the world have been working on this new business concept for more than a year.

The purpose of this program is to increase awareness and recognition about the value of networking and to continue to position BNI as the worldwide industry leader. Through a variety of simultaneous global events, networking luncheons, and speaker presentations, BNI hopes to gain as much publicity as possible.

Every chapter is invited to participate—and event Sponsors are needed as well. Program initiatives include:

• Members - invite your best client to the chapter meeting
• Chapters - invite a local business icon or have a special visitors day
• Regions - have a big breakfast that week and/or a special luncheon.
