BNI in Israel has managed to withstand the sweltering summer with temperatures in the high 30’s centigrade (90 to 100 F.) and humidity as high as 95% with the opening of the 15th and 16th chapters: “Ramat Gan” in July and “Kesem” in August. During the summer months 77 new members joined BNI to put the organization over the 350 member mark. Three new groups are meeting in Core Groups and plan to have Kick-Offs in the Fall: “Carmiel”, Jerusalem #2, and “Raanana #2”.
New officers of the ten chapters in the Central Regions of Israel participated in the Joint Leadership Team Training. The Northern and Jerusalem Regions held their training separately.
Shula and Simcha Sadeh, co-regional directors for the Central and Sharon regions, visited the US BNI Headquarters during their trip to California. They visited a local chapter and had extended dance card meetings with Lnnie Misner-Feigerle – the Regional Director for the headquarters’ area, and with Norm Dominguez, the US National Director. (Shula and Simcha rushed back to Israel to make sure they were home for the birth of their third grandson – Mazal Tov and Congratulations.)
For the Jewish New Year, all members received together with a New Year Card, a newly designed BNI pin in Hebrew.
