BNI is extremely excited to announce that the preliminary impact of our first ever International Networking Week™, which took place February 5th—9th, 2007, has been exceptional!
Though the International Networking Week™ website has been up for one year, there were less than 10 Google hits pertaining to International Networking Week™ back in June—which is when we were first starting to really get the ball rolling on implementing the inaugural International Networking Week™. As of Wednesday morning, February 14, there were over 40,500 documented Google hits for International Networking Week™!
The fact that Google hits for International Networking Week™ went from zero to over 40,000 in a matter of months truly speaks volumes about the success of International Networking Week™ and the phenomenal publicity and branding power that International Networking Week™ will continue to bring to BNI!
In addition to the very impressive number of Google hits that International Networking Week™ has already generated, we know that at least 18 countries from around the world hosted large-scale events during the week of February 5th-9th , many of which garnered significant media coverage in their home countries through various media outlets. Though the number of large-scale events is estimated to be in the hundreds, there were also thousands of BNI groups across the globe which recognized International Networking Week™ by a special Meeting Stimulant which was created by BNI with the intent of debuting it during the inaugural International Networking Week™.
All in all, for its inaugural year, International Networking Week™ was a rousing success and BNI is looking forward to next year’s International Networking Week™ being even bigger and better!
